HERE'S HOW YOUR ORDER WILL BE PACKED
We'll pack your order in a specialized, custom-insulated styro-foam container with special ice packs calculated for the amount of meat, the distance, and the travel method to insure your shipment arrives cold. We don't waste materials like unnecessary cardboard inserts. Our container is reusable as a cooler, or for any number of other purposes.
Your order will also include:
- A detailed packing slip. For larger orders, there may be multiple packages, but only one packing slip will be included.
- Cooking guidelines to help you properly prepare your bison meat.
- An encouraging message for you to reorder by web or phone, send gift orders, share your order with friends and family, throw a party to serve buffalo - in general.
- A heartfelt reminder that Legacy Outdoors appreciates your business and wants to be your personal bison meat source.
100% GUARANTEED DELIVERY & SHIPPING CONFIRMATION
We will do everything we can to insure your order arrives at its destination in excellent condition - 100% guaranteed. To help us get your order to you in excellent condition, please select a "Ship To" location where someone will be present to receive it on delivery, and immediately place the meat in a refrigerator or freezer. We cannot guarantee the freshness of your order if it sits outside unattended for more than an hour after delivery.
We consider "excellent condition" to mean that your meat will be anywhere from "cool to the touch" to "completely frozen" on arrival. Our shipping department carefully calculates the correct amount of special ice packs needed to get your order to you in this condition.
You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to let us know if you didn't enjoy the quality of our product, or if the meat didn't arrive in acceptable condition. Just let us know how we can make it right or refund your money.
Your meat is safe to eat as long as it is cool to the touch. Either prepare it immediately or place it into your freezer to enjoy at a later date. If your meat arrives warm to the touch, please contact us immediately at 1-855-9LEGACY.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail with a FedEx tracking number and estimated delivery day. For multiple package shipments, you will receive a tracking number for each one.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
We ship anywhere in the contiguous 48 United States. We ship only to physical addresses, as we cannot ship perishable, time-sensitive products to a P.O. Box.
Standard shipping and handling (including packaging) via FedEx Ground is only $29.99 for any size order. If FedEx does not deliver to your area, please contact us at 1-855-9LEGACY and we will make alternate shipping arrangements.
To make sure that your package arrives on time, we only ship out product on Monday. If you purchase product on a Wednesday, it will ship out the following Monday and arrive by Friday of that week.
We can guarantee that your order will arrive by Friday of the week it ships. However, we have found that the furthest locations from our facility have been arriving in about 3 business days.

We promise not to include the prices on the packing slip. You will receive the shipping confirmation, not your recipient (in case it's a surprise).
